Issues regarding Grandparents and Grandchildren
Grandparents and other family members (including aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters) are often significantly involved in the care of children and the Family Law Act recognises that children have the right to spend time with such persons. In other cases it may be that the Court would consider that it is in the best interest of the child to be cared for by significant other persons in their lives.
